Ben Littlewood has played classical piano since the age of 5 and taught himself the guitar during his teenage years. He completed a Law degree at Bristol University, and then studied Jazz Composition at the Rotterdam Conservatory. He worked for many years as a freelance recording sound engineer, ran a commercial studio, and became European Sales manager for Otari, just when the first 24 track hard disk recorder - RADAR - was becoming popular. At this time Ben was also responsible for sales of the first ever 24bit/96kHz digital mixing console – the Otari ADVANTA. In this century Ben has been involved with the sales & distribution of many premium brands such as SSL, Lexicon, Avid, Arturia, SPL, Rupert Neve, Arturia, & EVE Audio. Equally at home in a high-end studio or discussing overdrive pedals with guitar players, Ben has all the necessary experience & contacts in the Benelux market. In his new role at Tone Distribution he will concentrate on the long term sales development of quality brands such as EVE Audio and Cranborne Audio.
Dennis van der Vleuten has for the past 15 years owned and run the very successful Klundert Music Group. Known to many in the industry as a focused and trustworthy partner, Dennis has always been fascinated by sound equipment in both the studio & live scenes - and especially the underlying technology. Dennis knows more than most about the ‘nuts & bolts’ of a technical design – and he once even helped develop audio converter technology at Aphex in Sun Valley, USA.
Dennis has his own recording studio, and is often to be found behind the FOH mixing console at various live sound concerts. He is a fully-trained Yamaha Rivage operator and system designer, and enjoys keeping up to date with the latest in audio technology. He loves the challenge of putting together sound solutions that solve problems in an elegant and ingenious way.
